Job summary

SERCO Limited is seeking personnel to operate Utility Vehicles, petrol trucks, loaders, litter vacuum machines, and access equipment at our site in the UAE. You will maintain roadways free of FOD, keep vehicles clean, and ensure timely reporting of any defects.

Qualifications

• Should hold a UAE driving license (4/8) or both; any additional permit is an advantage.
• Should have minimum 5 years of experience in airfield or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Utility Vehicles and petrol trucks, loaders, litter vacuum machines and access equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
• Maintain roadways free of FOD and debris at landside and airside including GSE roads, car parks, tunnels, fence and apron area.
• Maintain a clean and functioning vehicle; report defects to Supervisors during shift.
• Present the vehicle for inspection per schedule and complete the Vehicle Service Book.
• Adhere to all Safety and Security rules and regulations.
• Complete the Vehicle Service Book as required.
• Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Undertake duties in designated areas adhering to SOPs and Job Card specs; maintain checklists and log book.
• Attend duty as scheduled and participate in unit meetings and training.

Key accountabilities

• Operate the Utility Vehicles and petrol trucks, loaders, litter vacuum machines and access equipment (not limited to) in accordance with the manufacturer instructions and company procedures.


• Ensure roadways at landside and airside including GSE roads, car parks, tunnels, fence and apron area are maintained free of FOD and debris.


• Maintain a clean and functioning vehicle; report and notify Supervisors any defects and damages of the assigned vehicle during the course of the shift.


• Present the vehicle to the motor transport section for inspection as per the schedule and ensure that the required Vehicle Service Book is completed regularly.


• Be aware of and adhere to all Safety and Security rules and regulations.


• Complete the Vehicle Service Book as required.


• Respond on time to emergency calls as and when required.


• Undertake assigned duties in the designated areas adhering to SOPs and Job Card specifications and maintain checklists and log book for reference.


• Report for duty as per the schedule and attend unit meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements
