Job summary

ADNOC Drilling Company is seeking a dedicated Coiled Tubing Operator Assistant to support onshore field operations in the UAE. You will assist with equipment maintenance, inspections, and safe execution of stimulation service tasks, contributing to client objectives while complying with ADNOC Drilling HSE policies.

You will work with site teams, participate in toolbox talks, and help train UAE national personnel.

Qualifications

• Secondary education completed with English, maths or science.
• Diploma/certificate in coil tubing training.
• Mechanical/chemical/electrical/instrument discipline education.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily equipment maintenance checks on all stimulation equipment.
• Carry out basic maintenance and report faults.
• Assist with on-site training of ADNOC Drilling personnel.
• Maintain relationships with client site representatives and crew.
• Work as part of a team across services as directed.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE: Assist Coiled Tubing operation at onshore oilfields / well sites. Assist and perform all pipeline services field activities and equipment mobilization jobs. The role is to ensure the Client’s objectives are delivered safely, without damage to the environment and in full compliance with client and ADNOC Drilling Health, Safety, and Environment Policies. 4.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Ensure daily equipment maintenance checks on all Company stimulation equipment on site are performed.
• Carry out basic maintenance of Company coiled tubing equipment where applicable and report and faults, damage and repairs required through the correct forms in a clear and legible manner for any activities which can’t be completed in the field.
• Assist with internal training of ADNOC Drilling field personnel.
• Maintain close and better relationships with client site representatives and crew members and treat people in a fair and respectful manner.
• Work on jobs as a team member in other services as directed while obtaining the maximum exposure and experience in that service.
• Ensure all activities undertake are discussed in a tool box meeting, covered by procedure, adequately risk assessed and understood by all crew members involved in the task.
• Ensure all Coiled Tubing equipment maintenance routines are carried out in a timely manner and documented and reported to Coordinator, Coiled Tubing accordingly.
• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
• Performs other similar or related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line with international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity and safety of assets.

Housekeeping

Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.

Reports

Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.

• Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.

Communications & Working Relationships:

Internal

• Daily contact with Senior Operator, Coiled Tubing and with Site Support Services staff.

External

• Client Well Services Personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

Completion of Secondary (12 years) education in English, Mathematics or a science subject Or High School education and Diploma / Certificate in Coil Tubing training.

• Further education certification in either mechanical, chemical or electrical/instrument disciplines.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• Mechanical and maintenance experience in fault finding and repair of equipment.
• Minimum 2 years practical mechanical exposure and as an Operator Assistant.
• Given the nature of oil field service work, must possess good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Computer awareness in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel programmes.
• Simple written and spoken English.
