Job summary

A leading oil and gas company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Operator to perform CNG loading operations and ensure compliance with safety procedures. The role entails managing gas logistics between Mother and Daughter stations, conducting safety checks, and adhering to operational standards. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years of experience and good communication skills in English.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Purpose

Perform the loading CNG trailer for in line with Company’s operational standards to ensure safe transportation and delivery of CNG from Mother to Daughter Stations.

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Inspects the vehicle/trailers before loading to ensure that it is good condition and highlight any issues to the Supervisor.
• Perform loading of CNG into trailers in line with daily dispatches to service stations/daughter stations as per given schedules and ensures loading of correct quantities.
• Conduct safe loading operations and report to CNG Supervisor in case of any emergency or abnormality in loading operations.
• Performs similar and related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Collect and record various data related to the process / field equipment in the assigned units and promptly highlight any abnormal operating conditions to Supervisor for prompt corrective action.
• Monitors safety during loading operations. Has full understanding of safety procedures and adheres to safety dress code (wearing uniform, safety shoes and protective headgear).
• Prepare equipment for hand over to Maintenance and then return to service in a safe, efficient and environmentally sound manner in line with defined quality guidelines. Provides support to maintenance crew and associated third party service providers to facilitate effective maintenance activities in line with ADNOC Distribution standards.
• Responsible for carrying out routine checks on equipment for abnormalities, to report defects noted in equipment and coordinate with the concerned staff.
• Ensures that all breakdowns in his area of responsibility are attended to promptly and equipment is returned to service as soon as possible.
• Follows the emergency plans and evacuation procedures and can use the safety equipment and fire extinguishers.
• Actively engage in personal and co-worker health and safety to ensure we all go home safe, every day.

HSE

• Follows the operations emergency plans and evacuation procedures and can use the safety equipment and fire extinguishers.
• Participate in all the operations’ HSE campaigns, training courses, awareness sessions and initiatives deployment to ensure meeting the objectives per each.
• Ensure full compliance to PPE and other safety regulations when assuming all the operations.
• Reports all Incidents and Near Misses, immediately to the supervisor.
• Follows company emergency and the operations group procedures and participates in Emergency drills accordingly.

Fire-Fighting Operations

• Carry out regular and surprise rounds of critical areas of operation as well as facilities to ensure that fire equipment are in workable conditions at all times and stop/ report unsafe precedents.
• Inspect, clean and test fire-fighting apparatus, tools and equipment, including hose and hose fittings, hydrants, ladders and hand extinguishers to ensure all firefighting equipment are in good condition and ready to be used when required.
• Respond to fire or accident alarms from the plants control rooms, determine the approach to fire’s location, make the necessary hose connections to fixed fire hydrants, and start firefighting using appropriate fighting tools according to the source of fire.
• Participate in taking emergency actions dictated by the situation to ensure quick and immediate response to the emergency.

Minimum Qualification
