Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking an Operations Intern who will own projects and work in a fast-paced environment focused on revolutionizing transportation. Interns will perform recruiting, project development support, purchasing, accounting and finance tasks, operations coordination, and corporate affairs research to help advance ongoing tunneling initiatives.

Ideal candidates have an undergraduate or graduate degree with experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business

Qualifications

Completed or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business development.
Ability to act urgently and communicate often and clearly.
Superior organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Recruiting: source candidates and coordinate interviews.
Support project development by identifying, tracking, and pursuing project leads; assist with proposals and marketing materials.
Purchasing: analyze supplier and spend data; support procurement of direct and indirect goods or services.
Accounting and Finance: assist invoice processing, daily reconciliation and monthly close; support budget tracking.
Operations: coordinate scheduling for active construction and facilities projects.
Corporate Affairs: research business issues and support deal-making from structuring to contracting.
