Role Context
The Operational and Financial Audit Manager provides leadership across internal audit engagements while helping the organization manage risk, strengthen controls, and maintain compliance with established policies and procedures. The role requires both technical audit expertise and people leadership. Responsibilities span risk-based planning, engagement supervision, audit reporting, recommendation follow-up, quality assurance, resource management, data analytics, and continuous improvement of the internal audit function.
Audit Planning and Execution
- Plan, direct, and monitor operational and financial audit activities.
- Apply established audit methodology and procedures to individual engagements.
- Define and monitor audit project plans against agreed timelines.
- Supervise engagements to ensure appropriate scope, quality, and achievement of objectives.
- Apply a risk-based approach when planning and conducting audits.
- Support development and dynamic revision of annual and quarterly audit plans as organizational risks and priorities change.
- Ensure internal audits are delivered according to the approved plan for assigned geographies or sub-clusters.
- Follow up with management on agreed corrective actions.
Audit Findings and Reporting
- Evaluate audit evidence to identify control weaknesses, root causes, business impacts, and opportunities for improvement.
- The Audit Manager will prepare concise and informative reports that meet professional standards, present significant findings to stakeholders, and recommend practical actions addressing identified risks and control deficiencies.
Controls, Governance and Assurance
- Support recommendations that improve financial, operational, and managerial controls.
- Evaluate relevant IT systems and technology-enabled processes.
- Provide reasonable assurance regarding adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assess the effectiveness of governance and control practices.
- Provide consulting and advisory support designed to improve business processes and compliance.

IIA Standards and Audit Quality
- Support implementation and ongoing conformance with the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and applicable IPPF requirements.
- The role contributes to the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program, including internal assessments, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Responsibilities also include supporting applicable IIA Topical Requirements and maintaining suitable evidence of conformance with professional standards.
Team Leadership and Resource Management
- Manage audit resources according to engagement requirements.

Familiarity with computerized financial and operational systems is required, with SAP S4 Hana and VSS experience preferred.
