Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in metallurgy or related field.
• 2–5 years in aluminum manufacturing or related industries.
• Knowledge of aluminum alloys, casting, heat treatment, and testing.
• Familiar with ASTM, ISO standards.
• Experience with spectrometers, hardness testers, UTM, metallographic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical, mechanical, and metallographic testing of aluminium samples.
• Perform spectrometer, hardness, tensile, conductivity, and microstructure testing.
• Verify alloy composition against product specifications.
• Investigate defects such as porosity, inclusions, cracks, and surface imperfections.
• Record, analyze, and report laboratory and production test results.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory testing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, customer, and company quality standards.
• Follow all HSE requirements and maintain a safe laboratory and production environment.
