Job summary

Al-Futtaim Health in Dubai is seeking a Phlebotomist for HealthHub Dubai Festival City to perform venepuncture, collect specimens, and support diagnostic services in a busy outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds a DHA Phlebotomist license or eligibility, with at least two years of experience, excellent communication in English, and strict adherence to infection prevention and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven venepuncture and specimen collection skills.
• Excellent patient communication and customer service.
• Fluent English communication; good computer literacy and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture and blood collection procedures for adult and paediatric patients.
• Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens accurately.
• Follow appropriate specimen handling and transportation procedures.
• Verify patient identity before blood collection and specimen processing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality throughout clinical interactions.
• Support health screening and preventive healthcare programmes.
• Monitor patients during and after blood collection.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Work effectively with physicians, nurses, laboratory personnel, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
