Job summary

ADNOC is seeking a Mechanical Technician to perform routine and corrective maintenance on rotating and static equipment in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on safe, efficient maintenance, fault troubleshooting, and supporting overhauls and new installations.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in oil and gas, and practical experience with preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. MAXIMO record-keeping is required, and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Oil and Gas industry experience preferred.
• Experience with rotating and static mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Experience maintaining MAXIMO records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment.
• Review maintenance history and plan parts, tools, and permits for jobs.
• Obtain required work permits and ensure HSE compliance during tasks.
• Support major overhauls, shutdowns, and new installations as needed.
• Update MAXIMO with maintenance records and inspections.
• Coordinate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams for complex issues.
