Qualifications

• Diploma or technical degree in instrumentation or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and control systems.
• Experience with tools and equipment used for installation and repair of instruments.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as meters, gauges, controllers, transmitters, and control valves.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with instruments and control systems.
• Calibrate instruments according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
• Monitor instrument performance to identify potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
