Job summary
A leading logistics firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Customs Clearance Logistics Engineer. The role involves managing the customs clearance process, handling duty exemptions, and coordinating with multiple logistics partners. Candidates must have 7 years of experience in logistics/customs clearance within the oil and gas sector, preferably with ADNOC projects, and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Fluent English communication skills are essential for this office-based position.
Qualifications
- Experience with ADNOC project is highly preferred.
- Requiring maximum one month notice.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire customs clearance process.
- Handle duty exemption procedures and ensure efficient clearance.
- Coordinate with vendors and logistics providers for shipments.
- Review and confirm all shipping and commercial documents.
- Arrange for inland transportation of materials.
- Ensure all documentation is prepared for customs clearance.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports.
Skills
