Job summary

Fisher is seeking a Commissioning Leader to manage mechanical commissioning on oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will lead commissioning activities, direct on-site teams, and ensure safety and environmental compliance during startup.

Responsibilities include preparing plans and schedules, reviewing drawings, developing test packs, and handing over documentation to clients. You will coordinate with construction, QC, and client teams through to project handover.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical commissioning, including a lead or senior role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience on oil and gas projects.
• Experience commissioning storage tanks, piping and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
• Direct commissioning teams and subcontractors on site.
• Verify mechanical completion and readiness for startup.
• Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with construction, QC, and client teams through to handover.
