Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead QA/QC Engineer to lead all QA/QC activities for a major ADNOC Offshore PMC assignment. The role will ensure that project engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning and handover meet ADNOC requirements, approved project specifications, international standards and the Wood Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality management.
• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas QA/QC experience.
• Lead or management level QA/QC on major offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO, ASME, API, AWS and NACE/AMPP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMC QA/QC function and provide overall quality leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, implement and maintain the project Quality Management Plan and QA/QC procedures.
• Review contractor QA/QC plans, ITPs and quality documentation for compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance against contractual quality requirements.
• Establish and maintain project quality KPIs and report to management and ADNOC.
• Lead audits, inspections and assessments of EPC contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage NCRs, observations, deviations, corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project controls to integrate quality requirements.
