Job summary

Oceaneering in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Senior Surveyor to support marine construction and positioning surveys offshore. You will lead field operations, mentor staff, and ensure safe practices while coordinating with clients and project managers.

The ideal candidate has at least three years as a Sr Surveyor in marine environments, a STEM degree, and proficiency with GPS, USBL, LBL, and navigation software. A valid driver’s license and TWIC are required.

Qualifications

Two year technical degree or higher in a STEM field.
Three or more years experience as a Sr Surveyor in Marine Construction/Survey & Positioning Survey.
Must have valid driver's license and suitable driving record.
Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card.
Must have knowledge of basic computer skills and survey equipment software.

Responsibilities

Assist new and fellow employees in performing their work in accordance with safe work procedures.
Coordinating and communicating with clients crew members and project managers.
Conduct and document daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/ Safety pre-tower meetings.
Responsible for offshore operations including personnel daily progress and asset utilization.
Train and adhere to client or company requirements.
Managing and carrying out specific job tasks as requested by client or project manager.
Comply with company safety rules and training, report unsafe conditions immediately.
Responsible for the care and safety of company equipment.
Training of fellow field personnel.
