Job summary

Indman is seeking an Appointed Person for lifting operations (APLO) with a minimum background of 3 years post-diploma in mechanical engineering and at least 5 years in lifting roles within oil & gas. The role requires authoring lifting plans, supervising teams, and leading safe lifting across sites.

Applicants must keep up with international lifting standards knowledge and complete the ADNOC-approved 4-day AP course, with assessments every 3 years. On-site UAE work across locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Have relevant Oil & Gas offshore and onshore lifting related experience of not less than 5 years in a similar position.
• Be able to write lifting plans, supervise and execute critical lifting in oil & gas companies.
• Lead a team of Crane Operators, Riggers and Banksmen for Safe Lifting Practices across locations.
• Familiar with international standards related to Lifting engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Crane Operators, Riggers and Banksmen for safe lifting across multiple locations.
• Apply knowledge of lifting engineering standards and change management as required.
• Complete the 4-day Appointed Person course and maintain competency assessments every 3 years.
