Job summary

GMP Technologies in the Middle East is seeking an Offshore Installation Manager to oversee offshore operations, ensure safety, and maintain technical integrity aboard the facility.

You will lead multi-ethnic crews, manage the facility budget, coordinate emergency response, and ensure compliance with SAMS, OPITO standards, and applicable regulations while safeguarding personnel and assets.

Qualifications

• 15 years in Oil/Gas with at least 5 years supervising multi-ethnic, multi-skilled teams.
• Valid Emergency Management Competency to OPITO (UK) or equivalent.
• Familiar with Oil & Gas codes, regulations, and safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SAMS, Case for Safety, and HSE compliance onboard the facility.
• Maintain safe, efficient offshore operations and environmental compliance.
• Lead risk management by identifying risks and implementing procedures.
• Manage onboard human resources to sustain a flexible, efficient culture.
• Oversee facility budget, accounts, costs, and purchasing system.
• Coordinate emergency response activities.
• Oversee personnel logistics and provisioning for crew.
• Provide guidance to Supervisors and crews on safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with the Safety Assurance Management Systems (SAMS), the Case for Safety and the Health Safety and Welfare of all persons onboard the facility.
• A safe and efficient offshore operation, the maintenance of technical integrity, compliance with safe operating practices, environmental and legislative requirements.
• Fulfilling the risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in the operation and maintenance of the facility are identified and procedures are established and implemented.
• Managing the human resources available onboard so as to maintain a flexible and efficient work culture.
• Managing the facility onboard management budget, prepare accounts and financial reports, control of costs and oversee the operation of the purchasing system.
• Managing and coordinating any Emergency Response.
• Personnel and supply logistics; maintaining provisions for the crew.
• Provision of Helicopter and supply boat to the facility and crew.
• Provide guidance to all Supervisors and crews in matters pertaining to the safe operating of the facility.

Requirements

• 15-year experience in Oil/Gas industry, with at least 5 years' experience in supervising multi-ethnic and multi-skilled workforce.
• Valid certificate of Emergency Management Competency to OPITO (UK) or similar standards Experience:
• Must be conversant with the relevant codes, regulations, standards, and safe practices applicable in the Oil and Gas industry.
