Job summary

RAKBANK is seeking an Officer – Treasury Operations (Fixed Income Desk) to manage post-trade activities, settlements, reconciliations, and lifecycle events in a governance-driven environment.

The role covers end-to-end processing of Fixed Income, Equities, Repo and related products, with emphasis on accurate trade details, custody actions, and regulatory adherence. Dubai-based, growth-focused team culture.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in Treasury Operations, Back Office, or Capital Markets.
• Experience with bonds, sukuk, bills, equities, repos and reverse repos.
• Knowledge of securities settlement, custody, corporate actions and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing and settlement of Fixed Income, Equities, Repo and Reverse Repo.
• Validate and authorize treasury transactions booked by Front Office teams.
• Process bonds, sukuk, treasury bills and other investment securities lifecycle.
• Monitor coupon payments, maturities, redemptions, and corporate actions.
• Handle equity settlements and corporate actions including dividends and splits.
• Process repo/reverse repo transactions and collateral management.
• Ensure timely settlement with custodians and brokers; perform daily reconciliations.
• Support regulatory reporting, audit activities, and period-end close.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Job Description:

As an Officer – Treasury Operations (Fixed Income Desk), you will be responsible for managing treasury post-trade activities, securities settlements, reconciliations, and investment lifecycle events while ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Manage end-to-end processing and settlement of Fixed Income, Equities, Repo, and Reverse Repo transactions.


• Validate and authorize treasury transactions booked by Front Office teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness of trade details.


• Process Bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, UAE M-Bills, EMTNs, and other investment securities throughout their lifecycle.


• Monitor and process coupon payments, profit distributions, maturities, redemptions, and corporate action events.


• Handle equity settlements and corporate actions including dividends, stock splits, bonus issues, and rights issues.


• Process Repo and Reverse Repo transactions, including collateral management, interest calculations, and maturity settlements.


• Ensure timely settlement and confirmation of transactions with custodians, counterparties, brokers, and clearing agents.


• Perform daily reconciliations of securities positions, custodian accounts, Nostro accounts, treasury systems, and GL balances.


• Support treasury accounting, regulatory reporting, audit activities, and period-end closing processes.


• Drive process improvement, automation initiatives, UAT activities, and operational enhancement projects.
  

What Were Looking For:

• 5-8 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Treasury Back Office, Securities Operations, or Capital Markets Operations.


• Hands-on experience with Bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, M-Bills, Equities, Repo, and Reverse Repo products.


• Strong understanding of securities settlement, custody operations, corporate actions, and treasury reconciliations.


• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related field. ACI/CISI certification is an advantage.
