Job description

Job Purpose:

• To ensure portfolio reporting and analytics for both WBG and RBG and assist the Manager -Capital Risk/ VP Financial & Market Risk and the team in other Risk reporting, Data related projects, and ad hoc analysis
• Support the Manager Capital Risk to ensure that the Bank is compliant with Basel requirements mainly Pillar 1 CAR reporting (Credit Risk, Market Risk & Operational Risk) and supporting with Pillar 2 & Pillar 3 reporting.
• To ensure Basel reporting and compliance in line with CBUAE regulations, provide effective data/information and develop reports relating to Basel framework to monitor portfolio quality, impacts of policy changes, control risk and support business decision-making.
• To support the team in Risk Committee presentations related to WBG and RBG Portfolio Reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the portfolio reporting and analytics:
• Portfolio Management Risk Reporting covering all the business lines.
• Risk MIS
• Risk KPI reporting and
• IFRS9 Internal MIS
• Support the Manager Capital Risk for the accurate and timely reporting of all the Basel III reports, covering the below:
• Basel III reporting (Pillar 1, Pillar 2 ICAAP and Pillar 3)
• Proper working files with audit trails
• Necessary internal controls on accuracy
• Internal Audit and External Audit reviews on Basel III reports
• Providing necessary working for CBUAE Examination/Review
• Developing / Updating the Procedures and Policies related to Basel III
• Prepare regulatory reports and data submission for Risk Management including Basel III.
• Design and prepare new reports, analyze trends, risk analytics reports and provide information to management to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Liaise and monitor timely preparation of all reporting requirements issued by CBUAE on Basel III.
• Improve risk analysis reporting through automation.
• Support for report automations in the relevant areas
• Monitoring of regular reports and analysis of country exposures
• Responsible for all aspects of risk reporting including design, development, implementation, measurement and maintenance of all types of risk reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis or as and when required. Support the implementation of Risk Management systems whenever required

Competency Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate/post-graduate degree holder from a reputable institution preferably in Finance, Economics, Commerce or Mathematics. ACCA/CPA/CA is an added advantage.

Minimum Experience:

• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in regulatory and MIS reporting in banking or related industry; Experience in delivering portfolio reports, Basel III reporting etc.
• Working experience on data extraction, transformation, loading and automation
