Job summary

A leading chemical industries company located in Dubai is seeking an Officer in Customer Service and Logistics. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in customer service and logistics, preferably in manufacturing. Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential. This is a full-time morning shift position with responsibilities including preparing delivery documents, coordinating with customers, and supporting the Head of Customer Service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Customer Service with daily tasks.
  • Prepare delivery documents for local and export.
  • Follow up on orders' dispatch, arrival, and receiving.
  • Prepare offers and proforma invoices.
  • Coordinate stickers for shipments.
  • Book containers with shipping lines for export orders.

About the Company:

Baalbaki Chemical Industries (BCI) is a leading polyurethane systems and polyurethane raw material supplier in the Middle East with production facilities in UAE & Egypt and operations in Turkey, Jordan, Algeria, and Lebanon. We produce Aromatic and Aliphatic Polyester Polyols; Isocyanate Pre-polymers; and Formulated Polyurethane Systems. BCI has integrated polyesters; bulk delivery possibilities; and a complete range of Polyurethane Systems covering applications in Insulation; Footwear; Automotive; Seating; and Adhesives.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Customer Service with the daily tasks
  • Prepare delivery documents (local and export)
  • Follow up and update the system for orders dispatch, arrival & receiving and coordinate with the customers & sales team
  • Prepare offers and proforma invoices, LPOs, and letters
  • Prepare bank documents (L/Cs and collections)
  • Prepare reminder letters for customers
  • Prepare and update weekly reports and send them to top management
  • Prepare weekly demand table (weekly production table)
  • Coordinate the stickers
  • Book containers with shipping lines for export orders
  • Freight and local transportation cost reduction
  • Follow up on Export & Local shipments' arrival, documentation & Clearance
  • Update Lean daily for outgoing and incoming orders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in customer service and logistics, preferably in manufacturing
  • Strong command of both English and Arabic Languages
  • Proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction
  • Understanding of LC documentation processes
