Odoo Functional Consultant – Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Odoo ERP implementation for manufacturing operations from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Analyse business processes, identify gaps, and design optimized workflows using Odoo modules (MRP, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, CRM, etc.).
• Customize and configure Odoo settings and workflows without coding.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for developers and ensure timely delivery of customizations.
• Collaborate with department heads (production, quality, supply chain, finance) to align ERP features with operational goals.
• Train end-users and create documentation for processes and modules.
• Provide ongoing support and improvement of the ERP system post-implementation.
• Build and manage a future team of Odoo developers to scale ERP features and integrations.
• Ensure data migration accuracy and coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
• Proven track record in implementing Odoo for manufacturing companies (MRP, Inventory, BoM, Work Orders, Quality, Maintenance).
• Strong understanding of business operations and process mapping in industrial environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional Odoo solutions.
