Job summary

Datamatics Technologies LLC is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to drive OCI Data Lakehouse initiatives and design scalable data pipelines. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams across actuarial, underwriting, finance, and business units to turn raw data into trusted data assets for analytics and AI/ML-driven innovation.

The engineer will optimize ingestion, transformation, and storage layers in OCI, implement governance, and ensure data products meet regulatory and reporting

Qualifications

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services including ADW, OCI Object Storage, OCI Data Flow, ODI, and AIDP.
Strong SQL and Python development skills.
Experience building modern data pipelines and cloud-native data platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion and orchestration pipelines using OCI Data Flow, ODI, and AIDP.
Develop ETL/ELT processes and manage Delta Lakehouse architectures in ADW.
Model data and enable analytics, data marts, and datasets for reporting and AI/ML use cases.
Ensure data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata management across pipelines.
Tune SQL workloads, Spark jobs, and ADW performance; monitor bottlenecks.
