Job summary

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer to lead OCI Data Lakehouse initiatives in the UAE, driving design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines for analytics and AI/ML readiness.

The role collaborates with actuarial, underwriting, claims, and finance teams to convert raw data into trusted data assets, enforce governance, and enable cost-efficient storage and reliable data delivery across the enterprise DLH platform.

Qualifications

• Requires OCI Data Platform expertise with ADW, OCI Object Storage, OCI Data Flow, ODI, and AIDP.
• Strong SQL and Python development skills.
• Experience tuning large-scale data workloads and building cloud-native data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion workflows in OCI DLH environments.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes and manage Delta Lakehouse architectures for analytics and regulatory reporting.
• Model data for analytics, ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across the lakehouse.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across actuarial, underwriting, claims, and finance to deliver data products.
