Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a recognized residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• DOH qualification recognized; eligibility for DOH license as Specialist OB/GYN.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in a tertiary care setting.
• Proficiency in managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage routine and high-risk obstetric cases.
• Conduct antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions; perform relevant surgeries within privileges.
• Manage labor and delivery, including emergencies.
• Interpret ultrasound and laboratory findings.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthetists, nurses, and allied professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and informed consent.
