IdeaCrate Edutainment Company LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an engaged childcare assistant to support teachers and contribute to the well-being and development of young children in a nursery setting.

The role requires a CACHE Level 1 or Level 2 qualification, a commitment to safety, daily classroom setup, diaper changing, cleanliness, and close communication with parents and staff to ensure a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a childcare qualification such as CACHE Level 1 or CACHE Level 2.
• Experience in childcare settings (nanny/babysitter) is valued but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and organize classroom furniture to create an inviting learning and play space.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to set up and modify the classroom layout based on daily activities.
• Assist in preparing arts and crafts materials and ensure supplies are readily available.
• Regularly sanitize and clean toys and play areas to maintain a healthy environment.
• Work with the teaching team to address maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance childcare services.
• Maintain open communication with teachers and parents regarding children's well-being.
• Lend a hand with additional tasks when colleagues are unavailable.

Education

Key Responsibilities :

Classroom Assistance

• Contribute to the arrangement and organization of classroom furniture, creating an inviting and functional space for learning and play.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to set up and modify the classroom layout based on daily activities and lesson plans.
• Assist in the preparation of arts and crafts materials, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
• Regularly sanitize and clean toys and play areas to maintain a healthy and safe environment for the children.
• Work closely with the teaching team to identify and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues in the nursery space promptly.
• Actively participate in the overall well-being of the nursery, engaging in team meetings, training sessions, and contributing ideas to enhance the quality of childcare services.
• Maintain open communication with the teaching team and parents to address any concerns or updates related to the children's well-being.

Be ready to lend a hand with additional tasks when colleagues in OS are unavailable, ensuring a seamless workflow and strong team support.

• Ensure that all children are kept clean and comfortable throughout the day.
• Monitor and manage diaper-changing supplies to maintain a well-stocked and organized changing area.
• Assist in changing children's clothes as needed, ensuring they are appropriately dressed for various activities and weather conditions.
• Prioritize and uphold safety standards when handling infants and toddlers.

Implement and maintain safety protocols during diaper changes to ensure a secure environment for the children.

Acceptable proficiency/threshold education, qualifications, training, and experience are necessary to enable the role holder to perform the role fully and effectively. Educational qualifications (Minimum educational background required to execute the role).Practical experience in a childcare setting, as a nanny, babysitter.
