Job summary

EPRI is seeking a Technical Leader for Nuclear Research in Abu Dhabi to conduct independent research and technical assessments supporting nuclear plant performance, decarbonization, and member-focused innovation initiatives.

The role requires leadership in technical activities, collaboration with utilities, regulators, and research institutions, and strong English communication to deliver high-quality technical products for members and stakeholders. Abu Dhabi location expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
• Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial or related discipline preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in nuclear engineering, nuclear research or nuclear infrastructure development.
• Experience with international nuclear organizations or research institutes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works independently and with others on technical activities with little supervision.
• Conducts technical searches and analyzes information in support of the project team.
• Applies technical expertise across nuclear engineering, infrastructure development, decarbonization and energy systems.
• Leads or supports planning and execution of complex research and engineering projects, including scope, schedule, budgeting, risk, and delivery.
