Job summary

Onestopndt seeks an experienced NDT professional to lead offshore inspection campaigns within the UK offshore, overseas, and related sites. You will supervise and mentor Trainee NDE Technicians while ensuring personnel qualifications, equipment readiness, and P&ID compliance are maintained.

You will perform ACFM, ART and PAUT inspections, develop procedures, and support client inquiries with clear reporting. Offshore travel and rigorous documentation are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of NDT experience and offshore exposure.
• Minimum Level 2 in ACFM, ART and UT; ongoing progression encouraged.
• Ability to read technical procedures and regulations; write reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore inspection campaigns in ACFM, ART, PAUT.
• Support Senior/NDE Leads in day-to-day operations.
• Prepare equipment, maintain QHSE docs, and report results.
• Travel offshore/workshops; develop trainees and NDE techs.

Job description

To carry out and lead offshore TSC subsea inspection activities on sites within the UK, Offshore, and Overseas. Ensuring qualifications and competencies are up to date. Supporting NDE Senior Specialists and Lead NDE Specialists as required. To be self-sufficient and organized in pre job equipment preparation, execution and post job activities. Actively support the career development of Trainee and NDE Technicians

RESPONSIBILITIES

General

• Required to assist Senior NDE Specialists and Technical Leads in day-to-day activities both in offshore and workshop operations.
• Lead inspection campaigns within your field of expertise – ACFM, ART, PAUT
• Assist with technique and procedure development of emerging technology
• Assisting with client enquiries, organization and execution of jobs following work instructions.
• Preparing equipment, maintenance and QHSE documentation.
• To further train and qualify in Standard and Non-Standard NDT disciplines.
• Travel alone or as part of a team, to be self-sufficient and organized in pre job preparation, execution and post job activities including reporting and job file completion.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Trainee NDE Technicians in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

• More than 5 years of experience with NDT
• 2 or more NDT qualifications to Level 2 as a minimum – ACFM, ART, UT
• Continue to gain experience and qualifications in other Non-Standard qualifications as determined by Operations Director
• Have the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations
• Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, client, customers, and the general public.
• Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft office and 3D packages.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
