Job description
Night Shift Superintendent
  • Lead and manage all night-shift yard fabrication and construction activities.
  • Enforce HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) standards through toolbox talks, night inspections, and ensuring permit-to-work compliance.
  • Plan and execute look-ahead work, allocate manpower and equipment, and coordinate multi-discipline tasks to maintain progress according to the production schedule.
  • Ensure adherence to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and work packs.
  • Manage RFIs (Requests for Information), NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and drive first-time-right execution.
  • Expedite punch list closure to mechanical completion.
  • Monitor crew productivity, man-hours, consumables, and support critical lifts and activities per approved method statements and lifting plans.
  • Interface with day-shift leadership, planning, engineering, quality control, HSE, logistics, and warehouse to resolve issues and maintain material readiness.
  • Provide accurate progress updates, delay notifications, and reforecast inputs.
  • Mentor supervisors/foremen and maintain workforce discipline and welfare standards.
Responsibilities

Experience: 10+ years in yard-based oil & gas fabrication/construction with 3 to 5 years in a superintendent or equivalent leadership role on large EPC/EPCI projects.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a relevant trade background.

Certifications: Safety certifications including Permit to Work (PTW), confined space awareness, rigging awareness; offshore survival certification if applicable.

Skills: Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
