Job summary

First Medical Center in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Associate Staff Physician specializing in Neurology to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with brain, spinal cord, and nerve disorders. You will work across inpatient and outpatient settings and collaborate with specialists to deliver comprehensive neurological care.

The successful candidate will hold a recognized neurology qualification, have UAE licensing eligibility, and demonstrate excellence in neurological assessment and clinical

Qualifications

• Recognized specialist qualification in Neurology and UAE licensing requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in neurological assessment and clinical management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurological assessments and review patient histories.
• Diagnose and manage neurological conditions including epilepsy, headaches, stroke, movement disorders, neuropathies, neurodegenerative diseases.
• Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
• Request and interpret investigations within privileges.
• Recognize emergencies and coordinate timely escalation.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, rehabilitation, radiology and other specialties.
• Educate patients and caregivers about diagnoses and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in audits and quality-improvement initiatives.
