Job summary

A leading IT service provider in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced IT Manager with 5-10 years in enterprise environments. You will manage day-to-day technology activities, ensuring operational excellence and availability of infrastructure. A Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT and CCIE certification are required. Immediate joiners preferred. The role includes working closely with NOC and SOC teams, troubleshooting, and preparing reports. Offers 8x5 onsite support and on-call during non-business hours.

Job description

• Minimum of 5-10 years of hands‑on experience managing and maintaining a large Enterprise organization.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT is must.
• CCIE certification is must (Security or Datacenter or Wireless or Collaboration).
• In country with UAE driving license is must.
• Notice period – Immediate available joiners only.
• ITIL V4.0 or 3.0 certification.
• 8x5 onsite support. On call support during non‑business hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Technologies experience and knowledge – Cisco UC, Avaya, Meraki, Ruckus, Palo Alto, VMware NSX, Huawei, Fortigate, Imagicle.
• Location – Abu Dhabi.

Role & Responsibilities

• Managing and operating the day‑to‑day activities of respective technology tasks.
• Managing and administration of the infrastructure to ensure BAU runs without any glitches.
• Daily operational activities towards Service Request, Incident, Problem and Changes.
• Extensive documentation creation and revision control.
• Experience and thorough knowledge in Core, Distribution, Access, Datacenter switches.
• Experience in Cisco SDWAN, Cisco SDA, DNAC, routers and voice gateways.
• Working closely with the NOC team to ensure infra uptime and availability with minimal downtime.
• Working closely with the SOC team to mitigate vulnerabilities identified and reported.
• Extensive troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good problem solving & decision making skills.
• Preparing various reports for respective technology domains.
• Ensure SLA's are met with timely updates in the ITSM Ticketing tool.
• Fine‑tune monitoring tool to reduce false‑positive alerts.
• Ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Work as a team player and should have ownership attitude.
