Job summary

Confidential in the UAE is building a digital-first, AI-enabled financial services organisation. We seek a Network & Security Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate the bank's software-defined network and security environment, collaborating with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, and AI teams.

You will deliver secure connectivity, cloud-hosted payment infrastructure, zero-trust networking, and highly automated security operations from day one, using Terraform and IaC to maintain resilient

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on network and security infrastructure engineering in banking/fintech or regulated environments.
• Strong experience with software-defined networking and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Hands-on Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud networking environments.
• Knowledge of zero-trust security, segmentation, identity-aware access, and automated security operations.
• Experience with SWIFT infrastructure, payment connectivity, or financial services networking is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate software-defined networking, SD-WAN, DNS, and load-balancing across cloud and office environments.
• Implement and manage next-generation firewalls, DDoS protection, intrusion detection, and cloud-edge security controls.
• Engineer and maintain SWIFT connectivity, payment-system infrastructure, and secure banking network environments.
• Support zero-trust access models, workload identities, segmentation controls, and secure connectivity across the estate.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and modern automation practices.
• Monitor network performance, security telemetry, disaster recovery readiness, and infrastructure resilience.
