Job summary

Evollabs is seeking a skilled Network Software Engineer to design and implement the next-generation NOS/NMS for data centers and telecom providers. You’ll work on HAL integration, multicore Linux systems, and ASIC-driven features in collaboration with hardware teams.

You’ll contribute to greenfield development, review designs, optimize multithreaded C code, and translate routing protocols into hardware behavior, with virtualization and containerization experience valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong C programming skills and Linux internals.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP protocols and BGP/OSPF.
• Experience reading standards (RFCs/IEEE) and translating into code.
• Hands-on debugging of multithreaded systems.
• Navigate large-scale codebases (>3GB).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement NOS components for ASICs.
• Debug and optimize multithreaded C code on Linux.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on drivers and SDKs.
• Translate routing protocols into hardware behavior.
• Participate in design reviews and best practices.
• Support QA with automated tests for ASIC-facing software.
