Job summary

Best architects L.L.C. seeks a talented network engineer to design, implement, and maintain the corporate and cloud-based networks for a trading platform in the financial sector. The role involves collaborating with DevOps/SRE teams, managing VPNs, and migrating resources with Terraform.

You will work on network consolidation across data centers, implement secure access controls, and optimize performance to reduce latency. Remote work is possible with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS network services (VPC, security groups, Route53, transit gateway) or other cloud providers.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible and Terraform.
• Mikrotik CHR at the administrator level.
• Experience in organizing VPNs (L2TP, WireGuard).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team with DevOps/SRE engineers to manage and develop a network for production and staging environments.
• Maintain and develop the corporate network and VPN access for employees.
• Consolidate virtual (cloud) networks, regions, and data centers; implement an addressing plan and restrict access to internal resources.
• Manage network infrastructure as code; use IaaC and Terraform for resource migrations; ensure zero downtime for clients.
• Organize traffic via Cloudflare and respond to incidents; write automation and monitoring scripts.

We are inviting a talented network engineer to join the team to work on a project to develop a trading platform for the financial sector.

• Working inateam with DevOps/SRE engineers, managing and developing anetwork for financial services (Production and Stage environments).
• Maintenance and development ofthe corporate network.
• VPN management, organization ofaccess for employees.
• Consolidation ofvirtual (cloud) networks, regions, data centers.
• Development ofanaddressing plan, restricting access tointernal resources.
• Managing network infrastructure incode (IaaC paradigm). Everything isdeclaratively described and stored inrepositories.
• Migrate manually managed resources toTerraform.
• Organizing and carrying out work without downtime for client services.
• Managing traffic proxying via Cloudflare.
• Participation inresolving incidents, finding and eliminating weaknesses.
• Writing scripts for automation and monitoring.
• Fine-tuning network services toreduce the latency ofclient services.
• Protection ofclient services from DDoS attacks.

Requirements for a candidate:

• Experience with AWS network services (VPC, security groups, Route53, transit gateway, tgw-multicast, ACL) orother cloud providers.
• Strong proficiency inAnsible and Terraform.
• Mikrotik CHR atthe administrator level.
• Experience inorganizing VPN, client and site-to-site (L2TP, Wireguard).
• Knowledge ofLinux atthe network administrator level, experience intuning the network subsystem.
• Expert experience with TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, DNS, BGP protocols.

It will be a plus:

• Availability ofrelevant Cisco orMikrotik certificates.
• Experience inFinTech.
