Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Construction Safety Officer in the UAE.
• Strong familiarity with UAE regulatory standards and construction site operations.
• EHSMS implementation, risk assessments, incident investigation, MSRA, and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Understanding the commercial impact of safety issues on operations.
• Proficient in English and Hindi (written and spoken).
• Computer literacy and strong reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement the ALEC EHSMS across medium to low-risk projects.
• Develop and implement project-specific EHS and associated management plans.
• Conduct daily inspections and ensure effective closeout.
• Monitor EHSMS control implementation.
• Advise project teams on operational risk and promote a strong EHS culture.
• Maintain accurate project EHS statistics and records.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and conduct EHS audits.
