Job summary

HydroNavix Marine and Offshore Engineering in Dubai seeks a naval architect/design engineer to design and oversee the construction of marine vessels and offshore structures, ensuring performance, safety, and classification standards.

You will develop hull forms, perform hydrostatics and stability calculations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; site visits and potential client-office relocation are required.

Qualifications

• Experience using AutoCAD for marine drafting and detailing.
• Proficiency in stability analysis software such as AutoHydro and Maxsurf.

Responsibilities

• Develop general arrangements, hull forms, stability analysis, and structural layouts.
• Coordinate with structural, piping, and E&I engineering teams during design and construction.
• Perform hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, and resistance & propulsion calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and classification society requirements.
• Conduct mandatory site visits as per project requirements.
• Deployment in the client office and relocation as per project requirements.
