Job summary

HYDRO N A V I X Marine is seeking a Marine Engineer for full-time roles in the UAE (Dubai). The candidate will design and oversee the construction of marine vessels and offshore structures, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and classification society standards.

Responsibilities include developing hull forms, coordinating with engineering teams, and performing hydrostatics and hydrodynamics calculations, with site visits and client-driven deployments as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with stability analysis and vessel design.
• Proficiency in stability software and associated tools.
• Familiarity with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL and classification society frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop general arrangements, hull forms, stability analysis and layouts.
• Coordinate with structural, piping and E&I teams during design and construction.
• Perform hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, and resistance calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL and classification rules.
• Conduct mandatory site visits as per project requirements.
• Deployment in the client office and relocation as per project requirements.
