Job summary

CyberGate Defense L.L.C. in Abu Dhabi seeks an MSS Engineering Manager to lead the Managed Security Services engineering team.

You will guide architecture, design, and deployment of security solutions, ensuring high availability and alignment with client requirements. You will mentor engineers, drive security program improvements, collaborate with SOC and product teams, and stay ahead of cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications

• 9 to 12 years of relevant experience in security engineering with a focus on Managed Security Services (MSS).
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls SIEM IDS/IPS endpoint security and other critical security platforms.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams including project management resource allocation and team performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of network security principles cloud security and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO).
• Hands-on experience with security architecture design security protocols and incident response.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement integrated security solutions.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Leadership and mentorship experience in guiding engineering teams through technical challenges and driving innovation.

Responsibilities
