Job summary

Amgen in the UAE seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as the primary field-based interface with external medical collaborators across the Gulf. You will disseminate and generate scientific data in coordination with other Amgen functions, advancing inflammatory and rare disease initiatives and engaging with key healthcare decision makers.

The ideal candidate has advanced clinical credentials (MD/PhD), strong pharmaceutical experience, and proficiency in English and Arabic, with visa

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Clinical Development / Medical Affairs / Clinical operations / Commercial operations)
• Proficient in English and local languages including Arabic
• Digital proficiency in modern scientific communications and data sharing
• Meeting visa requirements to work in UAE
• Advanced Clinical/Science Degree (MD/PhD) in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Interact regularly with healthcare decision makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform
• Lead inflammation medical affairs activities in Gulf along defined local strategies
• Communicate sophisticated technical information and data to healthcare decision makers
• Identify and train members of Amgen’s speaker bureau and keep them updated on new data
• Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision makers
• Coordinate with Clinical Development and Clinical Operations to provide field support for studies
• Provide training to healthcare professionals (contracted speakers)
• Represent Amgen at Medical Education events, programs and congresses
• Partner with external and internal collaborators to develop innovative solutions to improve patient care
