Job summary

IFZA Dubai in Dubai is seeking a Mobile Software Developer to build and maintain cross‑platform apps using Flutter/Dart and React Native, with backend services in TypeScript/Node powering the UI.

You will work within a structured Git workflow, contribute to code reviews, and help choose the right framework per project to deliver a polished, responsive user experience across iOS and Android.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building cross‑platform mobile apps with Flutter/Dart and React Native.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+) and Dart.
• Experience with state management patterns (BLoC/Riverpod/Provider; Redux/Zustand/React Query).
• Familiar with native platform concerns: permissions, lifecycle, device APIs, third‑party SDKs.
• Experience building REST APIs and consuming them.
• Experience with Git and PR workflows; Agile development.
• Ability to write clean, modular, reusable code and read others' code.
• Strong problem solving and communication.

Job description

As a Mobile Software Developer you will be responsible for

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications in Flutter/Dart and React Native, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and a polished UX.
• Integrate native device capabilities: camera, biometrics, secure storage, push notifications, deep linking, and third-party SDKs (payments, identity verification).
• Build and consume TypeScript/Node (Express) backend services and REST APIs that power the apps, including server-driven / dynamic UI content.
• Work within a structured Git workflow (issue → branch → pull request → review).
• Participate in code review: both giving and receiving, and write well-documented, maintainable, reusable code.
• Support the app build and release process across iOS and Android.
• Troubleshoot and debug across the mobile and backend layers.
• Help choose the right framework per project (Flutter vs React Native vs native) and prototype accordingly.

Requirements

• 2+ years building and shipping cross-platform mobile applications, with hands-on production experience in both Flutter/Dart and React Native (or strong depth in one and demonstrable working ability in the other).
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+) and in Dart.
• Solid grasp of state-management patterns in both ecosystems (e.g. BLoC/Riverpod/Provider in Flutter; Redux/Zustand/React Query in React Native).
• Comfortable with native platform concerns: permissions, lifecycle, device APIs, and third-party SDK integration.
• Experience consuming and building REST APIs.
• Experience with Git and pull-request-based collaboration workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development.
• Ability to write clean, modular, reusable code and to work effectively in someone else\'s codebase.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication.
