Job summary

talabat, the leading on-demand food and Q-commerce app in the region, is seeking a Software Engineer to join our mobile platforms team in Dubai. You will design, implement, and ship end-to-end features alongside engineering, product, and data partners, delivering value in small increments.

You will work with Flutter (Dart) and modern mobile architectures, advocate for quality, TDD practices, and continuous refactoring, while mentoring peers and contributing to scalable, reliable mobile services

Qualifications

• Empathetic and able to easily build relationships.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Understanding of lean/agile values and practices.
• 3+ years software engineering, XP environment (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Refactoring).
• 1+ years Flutter (Dart) development.
• Flutter ecosystem knowledge: state management, DI, testing.
• Mobile lifecycle: Kotlin/Java, Swift/Obj-C basics.
• Strong focus on automated end-to-end testing.
• Familiar with analytics and A/B testing tools.
• Experience with CI/CD in mobile projects.
