Job summary

Emagine Solutions FZE in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Mobile App Team Lead for a confidential FinTech client building a cross‑ platform trading app for iOS and Android. This hands‑on leadership role owns delivery, releases, and day‑to‑day direction of the mobile team through launch and beyond.

You’ll lead, coach, and review code, break work into tasks, ensure scalable and secure solutions, and manage the full release process for Apple App Store and Google Play while collaborating closely with Product,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mobile development.
• 2+ years in a mobile team lead / technical lead role.
• Experience publishing apps on App Store and Google Play.
• Hands-on with iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Familiar with CI/CD, testing, and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the mobile engineers across iOS and Android (priorities, delivery, quality)
• Break down work into clear tasks, assign ownership, remove blockers, and keep timelines honest
• Run technical design discussions and make sure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable
• Review code, coach engineers, and keep standards high (architecture, patterns, clean code)
• Own the full release process for Apple App Store and Google Play (versioning, submissions, release notes, store assets, compliance requirements)
• Work closely with Product, UI/UX, Backend, QA, DevOps, Security, Compliance, and stakeholders
• Drive performance and reliability (crashes, memory, responsiveness, platform‑specific issues)
• Improve how the team works over time (estimation, CI/CD, automation, testing, monitoring)

eMagine Solutions is hiring a Mobile App Team Lead for a confidential FinTech client building a mobile trading app across iOS and Android. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll own delivery, releases, and the day-to-day direction of the mobile team through launch and beyond.

What we need from you

• 7+ years in mobile development
• 2+ years in a mobile team lead / technical lead role
• Strong hands‑on experience in either:
• iOS using Swift, or
• Android using Kotlin/Java
• Solid understanding of both mobile ecosystems (even if you’re stronger in one)
• Proven experience publishing and maintaining apps on both the App Store and Google Play
• Comfortable integrating REST APIs, JSON, third‑party SDKs, auth flows, and mobile data layersConfident working with common architecture patterns (MVVM/MVP/MVC/Clean Architecture)

Skills

Nice to have (but not essential)

• FinTech, trading, forex, banking, payments, onboarding, or other high‑performance app experience
• iOS: UIKit, CoreData, App Store Connect, Apple frameworks
• Android: Jetpack, Room, Retrofit, Coroutines, Firebase, Google Play Console
• Monitoring tools like Crashlytics, Sentry, App Center (or similar)
• Mobile security experience (biometrics, secure storage, encrypted communication)
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery habits
• Uses AI tools sensibly to speed up delivery, improve testing, and keep documentation tight
