Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a Minibar Attendant to stock, maintain and present minibars in guest rooms to the highest standards.

You will work discreetly to ensure accurate consumption records, proper rotation using FIFO, and collaboration with Housekeeping and Front Office to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Excellent attention to detail, basic English, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in minibar, housekeeping, room service, or hotel operations is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock-control procedures.
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Guest-focused, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check and replenish minibars in assigned guest rooms according to established par levels and standards.
• Record minibar consumption accurately and ensure charges are posted or communicated according to hotel procedures.
• Check expiry dates, product quality, packaging, and presentation of all minibar items.
• Maintain proper stock levels and assist with minibar inventory and stock control.
• Ensure minibar equipment and storage areas are clean, organized, and hygienic.
• Report missing items, damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or unusual findings promptly.
• Follow established procedures when entering occupied rooms and respect all Do Not Disturb signs and guest privacy.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, Finance, and Food & Beverage teams when required.
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper rotation of products using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of minibar stock, consumption, and replenishment.
• Follow all hotel food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and brand standards.
• Provide courteous and professional service whenever interacting with guests.
