Job summary

Pulse Nova seeks an Industrial Methods & Lean Manufacturing Lead to oversee manufacturing processes, drive Lean transformation, and industrialize new products in a scalable fashion. You will optimize methods, flows, and workstations while guiding teams in CI practices and safe, quality-focused production.

Responsibilities include line balancing, time studies, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve productivity, cost reductions and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

  • +8-10 years in Industrial Engineering / Methods / Lean roles in manufacturing environments (electronics, aerospace, industrial or similar).
  • Proven experience improving flow and stability (OEE, cycle time, throughput, labor productivity) through Lean tools and data-driven analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with structured CI methodologies (A3, DMAIC, Kaizen) and practical shopfloor implementation/sustainment.
  • Solid understanding of quality fundamentals (process capability, control plans, defect containment) and documentation/traceability discipline.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred) or equivalent demonstrated expertise leading Kaizen and coaching shop floor teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and optimize manufacturing methods, process flows and workstation design to meet takt, quality, safety and ergonomics targets.
  • Lead Lean deployment on the shopfloor (5S, visual management, standard work, problem-solving routines) and ensure sustainability through audits.
  • Perform time studies, line balancing and capacity modelling to support ramp-up, staffing plans and S&OP inputs.
  • Own and maintain process documentation with strong change control (standard work, work instructions, layouts, control points, etc.).
  • Drive productivity and cost reductions through structured CI projects with measurable ROI (labor productivity, scrap/rework reduction, lead time).
  • Support introduction of new equipment, tooling and fixtures, ensuring robust process qualification and safe industrialization (incl. validation runs).
  • Coach Team Leaders and operators in Lean principles and daily CI habits, building a continuous improvement culture.
