JOB PURPOSE
The Merchandising Manager will manage and support a team of Merchandisers and Shelf Stackers across our customer base, ensuring timely execution of visibility, planograms, and brand activation plans. The role plays a vital part in shaping our brand identity in-store, driving availability, and delivering excellence against annual business objectives.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIs
- Implement brand strategies to increase market share and achieve business goals.
- Oversee and plan overall merchandising operations across assigned outlets.
- Draft and optimize journey plans in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Create and execute impactful store layouts and displays aligned with brand standards.
- Ensure full implementation of BDA visibility plans and new product launches.
- Coordinate with Marketing on promotions and campaign executions.
- Review monthly sales and ensure brands perform positively vs. LY and vs. budget.
- Drive distribution and MSL compliance to strengthen in-store presence.
- Maintain strong field presence to ensure flawless execution and accountability.
- Conduct merchandising training sessions and build team capabilities.
- Lead performance reviews and coaching sessions to enhance results and morale.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–10 years of experience in merchandising or retail management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software.
- Hands‑on leader with a passion for field excellence and brand execution.
