Job summary

FashionUnited in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support the Senior Merchandiser and Merchandiser. You will help manage allocations, produce reports, assist in catalogue buying, and liaise with stores to ensure stock availability and accurate product data.

The role emphasizes analysis, data-driven decision making, and collaboration across teams, with a focus on delivering a strong online and in-store product journey and aligning with M&S brand expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Fashion Buying and Merchandising at AM or Allocator level.
• Experience within retail buying environment, preferably in MENA and/or Europe with knowledge of UK/European brands.
• High proficiency in Excel and key Microsoft applications; knowledge of SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage allocation processes and balance stock levels.
• Generate and analyze weekly trade reports; propose actions.
• Assist in Catalogue Buying; enter quantities and support DRB.
• Coordinate store communications and support digital transformation.
• Coach team and support HR-related performance processes.
