Manage inventory levels for the assigned department across stores, maintaining appropriate stock availability while supporting sell-through and commercial objectives.
Assist the Planning Manager with preparation of the buying budget and assortment plan for the assigned department. Use sales performance and inventory information to support merchandise planning decisions and appropriate stock allocation.
Coordinate the launch of new products and categories across stores and ensure timely replenishment following launch. Monitor subsequent stock movement and sales performance to identify areas requiring adjustment.
Work closely with retail and buying teams to align inventory requirements, merchandise availability and departmental performance. Prepare weekly reports and review results with buying and retail teams. Develop action plans to address identified concerns and improve inventory and sales performance.
Flag inventory concerns promptly to the Planning Manager and the relevant Buying Department Head so issues can be assessed and managed efficiently.
