Job summary

IRTH Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP supervision team on construction projects. You will inspect mechanical installations to ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, project specs and approved drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years UAE experience in mechanical inspection and supervision.
• Mandatory experience on Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulated projects.
• Experience in hospitality, residential high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, water supply, LPG where applicable, pump rooms).
• Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections promptly.
• Verify compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor installation quality and identify non-conforming works.
• Raise observations and NCRs and monitor corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, reports and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Witness pressure testing, flushing, balancing, testing and commissioning activities.
• Support review of material submittals and mechanical documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP supervision team for construction projects in Dubai. • Chilled Water Systems
• Ventilation Systems
• Plumbing & Drainage Systems
• Water Supply Systems
• Fire Fighting Systems
• LPG Systems (where applicable)
• Pump Rooms and Mechanical Equipment
• Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections promptly.
• Verify compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
