Job summary

Dove Contracting LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman to prepare electrical and MEP drawings, layouts and schematics for infrastructure projects such as warehouses, industrial facilities and roads. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure compliance with design standards and client specifications.

The role requires a Diploma or BE in Electrical Engineering or Drafting, 3–5 years of drafting experience, and AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Maintain accuracy and traceability of drawings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate designs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical shop drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Draft cable routing, lighting, grounding, and duct layouts for infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop detailed power distribution plans.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, BS, DEWA and local codes.
• Revise drawings based on mark-ups and site changes.
• Maintain drawing logs and revision records.
