Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UAE is seeking a qualified MEP Coordination Draftsman to prepare and coordinate MEP shop drawings. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in MEP drafting and strong technical skills in HVAC and electrical layouts. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD and have good communication skills. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years experience as MEP Draftsman / MEP Coordination Draftsman (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC layouts, pipe routing, and electrical containment layouts.
• Hands-on experience in 2D drafting; exposure to BIM/Revit is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical.
• Develop combined services drawings ensuring proper coordination.
• Review design drawings, highlight discrepancies and raise RFIs.
