Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care across medical and surgical inpatient units.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients’ clinical conditions and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and support post-operative recovery as per physician orders and hospital protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, surgical recovery, discharge instructions, and health promotion.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, adherence to care plans, and compliance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain infection control and patient safety standards in all clinical areas.
  • Actively participate in continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital accreditation processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Western institution (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of recent post-registration experience in a medical/surgical ward within a hospital setting.
  • Eligible for or currently holding a DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license or eligibility letter.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment with a focus on patient dignity and clinical excellence.
  • Willing to work in Dubai.
