Job summary

Rayqube is seeking a versatile Mechatronics Engineer for a unified role blending hands-on installation work with advanced engineering design in Dubai, UAE. The candidate will manage field tasks, develop embedded control systems, and bridge mechanical, electrical, and software domains to deliver automated experiential installations.

The role demands CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Fusion 360), programming (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32), and experience with DMX/Art-Net/OSC protocols.

Qualifications

Hands-on installation proficiency for field deployments.
Strong mechanical and electrical integration skills.
Experience designing embedded systems and control interfaces.

Responsibilities

Lead design of mechatronic systems and schematics while deploying hardware on-site.
Oversee cables, rigging, mounting of equipment and infrastructure.
Develop engineering drawings and embedded software for control systems.
Integrate mechanical structures with actuators and sensors for reliable operation.
Manage field infrastructure including power distribution and signal routing.
Collaborate with fabrication partners and agencies to realize concepts.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for live installations.
