Job summary

Khatib & Alami is seeking a Site Inspector - Mechanical for Dubai Buildings Projects to supervise on-site construction activities, review work progress, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and HSSE requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in architecture/engineering site inspections within a top-tier consultancy, with strong communication in Arabic and English, good organization, and a meticulous approach to quality control.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
Knowledge of construction supervision services.
Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
Proficiency in Arabic and English.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Support project supervision teams with inspection of construction works and progress.
Ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications by contractors.
Review contractors' submittals and method statements as needed.
Monitor quality and HSSE compliance on site with QA/QC and HSSE engineers.
Coordinate with project managers and planning engineers for site activities and resource allocation.
Assist in handover, defects liability, and commissioning activities.
